April Break Activities

We have a few activities planned for the upcoming April break.

On Monday, Apr. 9th at 10:30am we will be having Mother Goose Time for babies 0-18 months and their parents or caregivers.  Older siblings are invited to come along.

On Tuesday, April 10th at 10:00am we will be showing the movie “Chipwrecked”.  In this, the third of the popular Alvin and the Chipmunks movies, Alvin, Simon, Theodore and Dave find themselves marooned on a tropical island.  Their adventures include a dangerous volcano, a buried treasure and a spider bite that brings out an odd change in Simon.  Kids are invited to bring along a snack.  No registration is required.

On Wednesday, April 11th at 1:00pm we will be holding a “Lego Afternoon” for kids ages 6 and up.  The library will provide the legos, you provide the creativity.  Registration is required for this program.

A Family Story Time for kids ages 3 and up will be held on Thursday, April 12th at 11:00am.  In celebration of National Library Week, we will be sharing some of our favorite children’s books of the past and the present.  No registration is required for this program.

Also this week we will be holding our annual National Library Week Buy-a-Book campaign.  Newly published children’s books will be on display.  Patrons are encouraged to look them over and choose one to buy for the library.  Bookplates will be put in all the books purchased and you can be the first one to check it out!  It’s a great way to show how much you love the library and books.

For further information on any of these programs call the library at 585-924-2637.
