April School Break Programs

The April school break is right around the corner and we have a variety of programs scheduled.

On
Monday, Apr. 18th at 10:00am we'll be showing the movie “Megamind”. Supervillan Megamind has finally conquered his nemesis, the hero Metro Man. But instead of feeling triumphant, he now finds his life pointless without a hero to fight. Something must be done to correct this problem. Kids are invited to bring along a snack. No registration is required for this program.

On Tuesday, Apr. 19th at 3:00pm we'll be hosting a visit from the “Dollhouse Lady”, Teresa Wood, who will be bringing one of her History Houses with her. She will be introducing us to American Girl Kaya and her friend Two Hawks. Discover what life was like in America in 1764 in Nimiipuu County. See a real miniature tepee and Native American artifacts. This program is recommended for kids ages 6 and up. No registration is required.

On Thursday, Apr. 21st at 2:00pm kids in grades 5 and up are invited to come try their hands at “Minute to Win It for Kids”. Do you have what it takes to complete a task in one minute? Come race the clock and see if you can beat your friends in this crazy competition with games taken from the actual television show. No registration is required for this program.

Finally on Friday, Apr. 22nd some of the library’s Therapy Dog friends will be stopping by to share some reading time with kids in Kindergarten and up. They will be coming throughout the day, so visit the library to register for a time slot.
